The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has added LTIMindtree, a tech consulting and digital solutions company, to its NIFTY 50 index. LTIMindtree was created post the merger of L&T Infotech (LTI) and Mindtree and started trading with the new name in December 2022. The NIFTY 50 index is NSE's flagship index and is computed using market capitalization-weighted and float-adjusted method. LTIMindtree's inclusion in the index follows CRISIL and India Ratings also reiterating its long-term rating of AAA/Stable.
